Description
This is made for Aphid777's Mythological Contest :3 Watchers' Contest Time!
When I read about the contest, I wanted to make a gryphon for it. I had started a gryphon for another contest ages ago, but hadn't finished it. My techniques were not as developed to I didn't like how it turned out. This time around I was ready!
Although I wanted to make a gryphon, I didn't want to make a standard lion and eagle version. So I held a poll with a few different birds to choose from and go from there. (I had a cat ready to go with each bird depending on what got chosen.) Secretary Bird won the poll and so I choose to pair it with a cheetah. Cheetahs are a long time favorite of mine. I thought it would be good to match with the bird since they are both sleek and graceful.
This was a fun contest. I cut this really close, but I'm glad I could enter it. Its been a while since I entered a contest. I miss them!
