Description

Here is Diesel the Great Dane made for a beach scene I'm doing tomorrow. I'm cutting it close to the deadline but hopefully I can make it. There are lots of great entries in the contest already, so it probably wont win but its lots of fun to join in. After all there are so few knit/crochet contests out there.

He is a Great Dane with Harlequin spots. His body is thinner than my other dogs and his legs are longer. Its hard to tell at this angle but he has a 'jowel' also. I tried a few different ways to get that effect, but ended up making a chain and jewing it on. It looked the best out of the ways I tried.

I wish I had taken a picture of it without the spots, I think I made too many.

I love him he is so cute. Could you write up the pattern for him. Have a friend that would love a black version in memory of her sweet baby that passed on earlier this year. Love all your animals and I've even gotten your horse pattern and soon will be getting your deer.
