Description
Commission for 
of Nicole Watterson from The Amazing World of Gumball.
Making a doll in this style isn't something I usually do especially with the art style of the show. The head shape of the character was intimidating, but I was linked to a pattern for Gumball (her son) and that is what I ended up using for the head shape. The rest is done completely from scratch. I did the head first and the rest after, making the head a little small compared to the show, but it worked well for the doll. The skirt took the longest to do. I went through several different versions trying to get a nice pleated look. Eventually I scrapped them and went back to double crochet rows.
She is about 14 inches tall if I remember correctly. She can stand on her own with a little balance, but I made the skirt in a way so that she can sit down.
Doll is blurry, background in focus. :/
